PROPERTY HIGHLIGHTS

The Aruba Marriott has many amenities including; a freeform pool, five restaurants, Stellaris Casino and the well-furnished rooms that will leave you feeling like royalty. Vela's Fisherman's Huts Windsurf Center is located at the Marriott on a beautiful white sand beach. Vela guest receive priority to the upper level island-ocean view rooms which look directly out at the windsurfing site. Not only are these the most spacious in Aruba (400 sq ft) but are arguably the most modern and comfortable rooms as well. A new contemporary design, coupled with "Marriott's Revive Bedding" extra-thick mattress with plush toppers, 300 thread count sheets plus soft feather pillows. Cutting-edge technology, featuring high tech amenities such as a Jack Pack. This new 'plug 'n play' tool makes it easy to plug in your i-Pod and laptop and play them from your LCD wide screen TV. All guest rooms are now also smoke free.

All the bathrooms are amazing, with double sinks, chrome, granite, porcelain, Bath & Body products, and a modern rain showerhead - all the best materials you would choose for a custom-designed, high quality bathroom. Right outside the door you'll find a spacious walk in closet. You MIGHT want to move in as a permanent guest after a week!

ROOM OPTIONS

Here is a list of all room types. There are loads of options, but our guests favorites include the Ocean / Island View and Grand Oceanfront rooms. All oversized rooms with over 400 sq ft of living space come equipped with 1 King bed or 2 Double beds, individual climate control A/C, large outdoor balcony with 100 sq ft of space (except in some Quality rooms), living/sitting area with sofa, chair, and desk, walk-in closet, 37' LCD TV with satellite and cable programming, mini-fridge, in-room phone, en-suite bath, and more.

Marriott Quality Room:
Smallest room type used when guests 100% want Marriott, but other rooms are sold out or if by request. This is a smaller room with either Garden or No views. Some have no balcony.

Garden View Room:
Very nice oversized room with views of the surrounding hotel grounds.

Ocean/Island View Room:
Located on the outer perimeter of the hotel with views of the Ocean and the Island. Vela guests are given priority for rooms in the "North Tower" with direct bird's-eye view of the windsurf center and sailing area.

Ocean/Pool View Room:
Located on the inner "U" of the hotel with great views of the Ocean and the inner courtyard.

In addition to the fantastic rooms offered above there are some special rooms and suites...

Grand Oceanfront Room:
Grander in lots of ways: 625 sq ft of interior space, 200 sq ft balcony outdoor sapce, bigger LCD TV. Located on the ends of the horse-shoe DIRECTLY facing the ocean. Can be connected to neighboring Ocean Island or Ocean Pool room to create a 2BR unit complex.

Caribbean Honeymoon Room:
Located on floors 1-8 of the South tower. View of ocean and courtyard from private balcony. The only suite that has a Jacuzzi bath-tub. 1 King bed that offer a larger sitting area. These rooms have a single full bathroom with double sinks and walk-in closet. No connecting rooms available.

Executive King Room:
Located at the end of each wing of the North tower on floors 3-8 and of the South towers on floors 1-5. They are closest to the ocean and offer full oceanfront views from private wraparound balcony with additional patio furniture. 1 King bed and have a single full bathroom, no living room. This suite can be connected with one Ocean/Island or Ocean/Pool room with either 1 King bed or 2 Double beds as a separate booking, giving multiple options for a 2BR or 3BR complex.

Governor's Suite:
Corner units with 625 sq ft of space located on floors 6-8 of the South Tower with a huge 200 sq ft wraparound balcony giving you full oceanfront views. 1 King bed in the bedroom plus an attached living room equipped with 42" LCD TV, walk-in closet, wet bar, pullout sofa bed, and bathroom. The living room and balcony are ideal for small parties or entertaining. The master bedroom offers a TV, full bathroom (with double sinks), walk-in closet and a private oceanfront balcony. Governor suites are the only rooms in the hotel that have a pull our sofa bed in the living room area. This suite can be connected with one Ocean Island or Ocean Pool room with King bed as a separate booking.

"Would you mind not smoking here..." As of April 2008 the entire resort (with the exception of the casino) is now desiganated as NON-SMOKING!

The new "Tradewinds Club" provides guests with a chance to experience luxury at its best in the private and exclusive setting of Tradewinds Club, the newest and most upscale addition to the Aruba Marriott. Tradewinds Club opened September 1, 2008. The entire 8th (top) floor of the Resort functions as a hotel-within-a-hotel with exclusive access to the Tradewinds Club Lounge. In the Lounge five different food & beverage servings are presented during the day and evening. Club guests enjoy additional guest services such as private check in, packing and unpacking services and complimentary internet access. Assistance of a private concierge, taking care of all pre-arrival and on-island needs, as well as a library offering a selection of your favorite daily reads, are also available. All 59 guest rooms, of which four are suites, offer magnificent views over the Caribbean. Deluxe room amenities include plush bathrobes and slippers, upscale bath products and a selection of options from our pillow menu.
