Different spots along the river can provideconditions for beginner through advanced sailor. There are over 20 sailing sites in the Gorge to choose from, allowing you to choose your ideal conditions.The river is totally flat at The Hook and the Marina with no current. Intermediate bump and jump at almost all other sites, some with head high river swells, depending on the wind and current. Water temperatures range from the upper 50s in May to mid 70s in August.
